Two funeral administrators from Durham have gained their BTEC Advanced Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration.

Marjorie Wright, who is based at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Crook, joined the business in 2011 and has been studying towards her diploma since then.

Her colleague Barbara Potter, who also achieved the diploma, is based at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Ferryhill but also travels around the Darlington area to cover when necessary.

Potter said: “I enjoy my job as administrator, I am happy knowing that in some way I am helping the families that I come into contact with during their difficult times.”
