P & S Gallagher raises £1,000 hosting a charity golf dayGallagher charity golf day, a bi-annual event with the proceeds being donated to a local charity, this year raised £1,000 for Cherry Tree Day Centre in Burgess Hill.

The donation, which will fund the refurbishment of the chairs in the day centre, came after 80 golfers competed in the 18-hole day organised by P & S Gallagher Funeral Directors of Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.

There were in excess of 70 prizes awarded on the day to those taking part, with the winning team from the Heath Tavern duly crowned champions of 2013, receiving the hard-fought-for trophy.

The generosity of those involved along with donations and sponsorship from Cottage Flowers Cuckfield, the Party Shop, Corals Bookmakers, Its Magic, Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Bletchingly and Mid Sussex Golf Clubs, all helped to provide prizes that were gratefully received by the winners.
