Funeral home raises funds for hospiceA Darlington-based, family-run funeral home has raised £250 for a local hospice.

Whitehouse Funeral Services raised the money as part of St Teresa’s Hospice Giving to Life Tree campaign. The home encouraged staff and clients to hang messages of love on a Christmas tree in its offices when making a donation.

Funeral director John Whitehouse said: “I am overjoyed and amazed at the response we get every year. Thank you to all our staff and customers.

“I’m absolutely over the moon that we have been able to help St Teresa’s Hospice in this way.”
