A Manchester-based independent funeral director recently carried out its annual ‘hearse pull’ in aid of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

Kane Funeral Services pulled its horse drawn hearse from Wythenshawe British Legion to the Levenshulme British Legion, totalling a distance of 15 miles.

Their efforts were very well received, as participants raised £750 on the street, collecting in buckets as they marched across the city.
