Legacy Funeral Services has opened its new site in Aylesbury town centre.

The independent, family-owned funeral service, which is situated on Buckingham Street said its business philosophy is to “provide a personal, bespoke and efficient service to the community”.

Legacy Funeral Services is run by James Burnutt, who started working in the funeral industry since leaving school at the age of 16, and his colleague who has over 30 years experience in the field.

Burnutt told Buckingham Today: “What really inspired us to do it was the pricing structures of funeral directors. There’s been a lot in the press lately about how expensive funeral directors are so what we wanted to do was try to offer people a bit for their money.”
