Rev Paul Sinclair of Motorcycle Funerals released a dove to mark the official opening of the Co-operative Funeralcare in Crouch End.

Staff held an open day at the funeral home, which first opened in July, to help locals find out more about the work of a funeral director.

Different hearse options, such as horse-drawn, motorcycle and bicycle, were on display to illustrate how funerals can be tailored to individual needs.

Manager Carolyn Green said: “The day was a huge success. We had lots of people through our doors, asking questions and viewing our hearses and premises, despite the rain.”
