Mears Repatriation moves to the high street

Funeral directors Mears Family Funerals, has announced that its repatriation service will be moving to the high street on 1 July.

The store will be located in Lewisham and Ladywell, people will be able to arrange the repatriation of their loved ones via Mears.

International repatriation manager Lana Ivanova will be leading the service from the branch, she has experience of arranging international repatriations both to and from the United Kingdom and was previously located at the Operations Centre at London Biggin Hill Airport.

Ivanova said: “I am excited to be bringing my repatriation knowledge and experience to the Lewisham branch to complement the first class funeral service provided by branch manager Nichola. Families will now be able to come into the branch at a time that suits them to arrange a repatriation of a loved one to anywhere in the world.”

Steven Mears, group CEO, added: “Establishing a ‘high street’ presence for Mears Repatriation in Lewisham will give residents in the surrounding areas easy access to our repatriation services and face-to-face interaction with repatriation specialist Lana. It also demonstrates our commitment to the local community by offering all funeral options from a simple cremation to repatriation to their homeland all at one branch.”

Mears Repatriation is now a team of more than a dozen international funeral directors, and offers its services across the globe.
