iGene prize draw won by McNulty Funeral Services at NFE 2013

McNulty Funeral Services has been named the winner of the iGene London prize draw held at the National Funeral Exhibition (NFE) 2013.
The firm, one of Huddersfield’s oldest family-owned funeral directors, was selected from more than 300 participants that had all provided iGene with their views regarding the use of imaging in post mortems.
The NFE provided a platform for iGene to showcase and highlight its technology to the funeral industry as well as enabling it to obtain essential feedback from funeral directors, embalmers and funeral plan providers.
The feedback means iGene can progress its plans to establish a national network of digital autopsy facilities across England and Wales.
Digital autopsy is considered more humane is often more comforting for the bereaved as it means a scalpel need not be used.
