G & L Evans funeral directors has opened its fourth branch, after transforming the site from a café to a funeral home in just 17 days.

The funeral home, in Covingham Square in Swindon, was officially opened by the mayor of Swindon and councillor Mick Bray. A service of dedication followed, delivered by Father Gary Brassington (Roman Catholic) and Reverends Beth Brown (Church of England) and Andrew Wigley (Methodist), which concluded with prayers.

Owners of G & L Evans, Geoffrey and Lesley Evans, have a wealth of experience behind them. Geoff has held a diploma since 1985, becoming a member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD) in 1986.
