Jeremy Field, managing director of CPJ Field & Co Ltd, has been elected president of the London Association of Funeral Directors (LAFD) at its recent AGM in Knightsbridge.

Jeremy, who joined the LAFD’s Executive Committee in 2009, is a 10th generation member of the funeral industry and, by becoming president of the LAFD, is following in the footsteps of both his father and great-great grandfather, who headed the organisation from 1983 to 84 and 1907 to 08 respectively.

Speaking of his election, Jeremy said: “It is a real privilege to be the third generation of the Field family to be elected as the president of the Executive Committee and I’m looking forward to leading the association this year.”
