Hertfordshire police are appealing for witnesses after a Knebworth funeral parlour was robbed last week.

The incident occurred at JJ Burgess & Sons Funeral Parlour last Thursday (12 December) at around 2.15pm. 

A man entered the parlour, before stealing a sum of money that was left on the counter. 

The suspect is described as “5ft10, Asian/Spanish in appearance and was wearing a blue wooly hat and blue/green jacket”. 

PC Rachel Williams said: “I’m interested to hear from anyone who saw a man matching the description in the area at the time of this incident to please get in touch with me.”

An arrest is yet to be made.
