Thornalley Funeral Services has opened its Breckland Crematorium, built in Scoulton to serve the surrounding areas of the Breckland and South Norfolk District.

The Crematorium features a large chapel for services with the most up to date facilities with music and visual tributes. It has an oak framed flower court for the display of floral tributes.

Breckland Crematorium offers extensive landscaped Gardens of Remembrance, where there is a wide variety of memorials available to suit all requirements and will be developed further as time goes on.

It is located on the B1108 between the towns of Hingham and Watton. Breckland Crematorium has been built by the Thornalley family, owners of Thornalley Funeral Services in King’s Lynn and Chapmans and Thornalley Funeral Services in Swaffham.

Director Ray Thornalley said: “It will be a privilege to provide this much needed service for the funeral directors of Norfolk, as we know it will be a great benefit to those living in the local and surrounding areas.”

Breckland Crematorium will be open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, excluding bank holidays and the Memorial Gardens and Book of Remembrance will be all open year round, 9am – 5pm.
