Baking Funeral Director gains 20 years’ Long Service Award

Barry Lewis, funeral director at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Birkenhead has achieved a Long Service Award for his dedication to The Co-operative Funeralcare over the last two decades.

Barry, who is from Birkenhead joined The Co-operative Funeralcare in in 1987 after his step-father, a vicar of St James’ Church Birkenhead introduced him to the industry.

More recently, Barry was promoted to Principal Funeral Director at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Birkenhead.

Commenting on his 20 years’ Long Service Award, Barry said: “I love being able to help families at their time of need, supporting them to create a lasting memory and tribute to their loved one.”
