Neville Funerals appoints manager for Stopsley & Hemel Hempstead branches

Witham is currently the manager for the firm’s Dunstable branch, and he leads on the firm’s Talking Elephants bereavement support groups which takes place across the region

Neville Funerals has promoted James Witham as the new general manager of the company’s Stopsley and Hemel Hempstead branches.

As the current manager for the firm’s Dunstable branch, Witham has been with the business for over 15 years.

He reportedly has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry, and Neville Funerals said he played an “important part” in the refurbishment of the firm’s Dunstable branch in January 2021.

Additionally, Witham currently leads on the firm’s Talking Elephants bereavement support groups which takes place across the region.

Witham’s appointment reportedly comes at a time of growth for the Luton headquartered business, as they recently promoted another member of staff to be their new Bedford branch manager.

Vicky Trumper, Neville Funerals’ director, said: “Branch manager roles at the business are viewed as pretty crucial positions for us. James has already proved he is very capable of being one at our Dunstable branch, he understands the responsibilities of the position and so it felt natural to appoint him Branch Manager for Stopsley and Hemel Hempstead too.

“He is well respected and trusted within the organisation and has also built great relationships with our local community in Dunstable. We have no doubt he’ll do the same in these additional locations and further help the business to grow from strength to strength. We look forward to seeing him thrive as Manager for three of our branches.”

Witham added: “It is an honour to be appointed the new branch manager for Stopsley and Hemel Hempstead, alongside my existing position at Dunstable. I have been overwhelmed at the support and response from everyone and am determined to do just as great a job at these branches as Dunstable.

“Providing our communities with the best advice and support is always at the forefront of everything I do and my aim is to use my experience from Dunstable to ensure our Stopsley and Hemel Hempstead branches continue to thrive.”
