A new office administrator and funeral arranger has joined Midlands funeral directors, the Eastwood Funeral Partnership. Amanda Outram will be working at Gillotts Funeral Service in Heanor, Derbyshire alongside funeral directors Helen Ellis and Anthony Topley.

Gillotts handles around 170 funerals a year and has experienced a steady rise in inquiries and phone calls over the past year.

Amanda Outram said: ‘Having worked previously for the NHS, I bring a wealth of admin knowledge and many years of experience of dealing with the public, sometimes in distressing circumstances.

‘I’m looking forward to getting involved and also learning to arrange funerals in the future.’

Eastwood Funeral Partnership also runs three other offices in Nottinghamshire, the Eastwood and District Funeral Service in Eastwood, Gillotts Funeral Service in Stapleford, and Kimberley Funeral Service in Kimberley.
