Dom Maguire lands achievement award Herald Family Business of the Year Awards

Anderson Maguire, a leading independent family funeral directors in Scotland, has seen its chairman receive an Outstanding Achievement accolade at the Herald Family Business of the Year Awards.

Dom Maguire, who founded Anderson Maguire in 1982, was award the honour at the awards which celebrated achievements in 2013. The company was also commended in the Family Business of the Year category and shortlisted in the Customer Service Excellence Category.

Maguire said on the win: “We are really delighted to have won these awards.  We work very hard as a company to provide one of the best family businesses in Scotland and it is very gratifying to see our efforts being rewarded by The Herald.”

This follows an Outstanding Customer Care accolade received in 2011 by Funeral Planning Services, who recognised Anderson Maguire’s commitment to its customers.
