JH Kenyon Funeral Directors’ chapel of rest has been rededicated following extensive refurbishments at the home during 2012.
Cllr Kate Salinger, the deputy Mayor of the London borough of Barnet, was among the attendees at Reverend David Walker and Reverend Mike Smith’s rededication of JH Kenyon’s chapel of rest.
The funeral home was praised by Rev David Walker during the rededication for the high standards it has guiding bereaved families through difficult times.
Funeral service arranger Graham Pistorius said: “It is an absolute honour to work in such a lovely funeral home and it is my privilege to serve the community.”
Manager of JH Kenyon Jim Gilbey added: “This funeral home offers a peaceful environment for families who come to us to arrange funerals for their loved ones, we do serve families from all faiths and different cultures and we hope they gather comfort from the fact that this chapel has been blessed by the clergy.”
Light refreshments were served during an impromptu question and answer session following the service.
