International delegation of FDs visits James Brown & SonsJames Brown & Sons recently hosted the World Organisation of Funeral Operatives on its first visit to Northern Ireland.

General manager of James Brown & Sons, Beverley Brown, said: “This year the 12th International Convention of Funeral Operatives was held in Dublin for the first time and as part of the convention we arranged for them to take in a one day visit to Belfast. More than 30 funeral directors were able to share wisdom and experiences of how funerals are handled across the globe.”

Beverley, a fourth generation daughter of the Brown family, shared her experiences of managing high profile funerals at one of Northern Ireland’s longest established funeral businesses with the multinational representatives.

Following their visit to James Brown & Sons, the delegates from Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, the UK, and the USA visited Belfast’s City Hall.
