Scotland’s leading national lawn bowls club competition has secured sponsorship from the Co-operative Funeralcare.

The Inter County Top 10, now in its 31st year, is a nationwide championship that features the best of 900 clubs representing 25 counties from across Scotland.

Managing director of the Co-operative Funeral Care, George Tinning, said: “We are delighted to sponsor a national competition which helps to bring a sharper focus onto bowls in the lead up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Supporting people in the communities we work in is crucial to us, and our sponsorship of the Inter County Top 10 enables us to do that for communities all over Scotland.”
