A new Co-operative funeral home has opened in Bishop’s Stortford.

The Co-operative Funeralcare, which has been designed in a contemporary style, opened on South Street on March 12.

The interior features two chapels of rest, a funeral arranging room, a large reception area and parking at the rear.

Funeral director Andrew Crowley, who formerly worked at The Co-operative Funeralcare in Welwyn Garden City, will help local families plan the arrangements for their loved ones.

Manager Letitia Ford said: “While this is a new venture for us in Bishop’s Stortford we have a great deal of experience helping people at times of bereavement.

“We also have a beautiful new funeral home which will help us to provide a high quality service. We have our clients at the heart of everything we do and pride ourselves on being the best.”
