David Button Independent Funeral Directors welcomed local residents into the branch to take part in Elf Day and help raise funds for people affected by dementia.

Attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Felixstowe, dignitaries and the local community, the Elf Day cake and coffee morning raised £400 which will go towards helping to improve the lives of people living with dementia today, and to fund research tomorrow.

As a member of the Felixstowe Dementia Action Alliance (FDAA), David Button comments: “We were overwhelmed by the fantastic turn out and support for our Elf Day cake and coffee morning. The local community and businesses came together to make Elf Day a resounding success and I would like to thank everyone that was involved.”

Elf Day is an annual fundraising event, which raises money to support people with dementia and their families. As the UK’s leading dementia charity, Alzheimer’s Society is dedicated to providing information and support, improving care and funding research to find a cure.
