Grave Care International Ltd has acquired the long-running family business, Grave Concern, based in Essex.

Grave Care International, which was formed in 2015 by Martin Knight and Tony Jones, has taken on the clients and business of Grave Concern, a family-owned grave tending business that has been caring for memorials around Great Dunmow and the M11 corridor for the past 20 years.

Colin and Linda White, the proprietors of Grave Concern, said: “It is with regret we have had to close Grave Concern but the years are marching on and now was the time. We are impressed with Grave Care’s customer-ethic and will help them where we can.”

Grave Care International is based in Epsom, Surrey but has already built a strong portfolio of customers in London and the South East, Kent, Oxfordshire and the North-East of England.

“Via acquisition and organic growth our aim is to provide complete UK coverage and become Britain’s first national grave tending business. We are delighted to learn from Colin and Linda and to now have a strong presence in the East of England.”
