The company marked the occasion with a special two day opening event that allowed the local community to meet the team and learn more about the family behind the firm.
Bowley and Gallagher Funeral Services feature a modern, welcoming design with state of the art facilities and a training centre for funeral directors across the region. The former building has been completely refurbished by Matthew Gallagher and Paul Bowley who have been working in the industry for over 25 years through their three existing funeral directors in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Hassocks.
Matthew Gallagher, from Bowley and Gallagher Funeral Services, said: “We are very excited about the launch our new premises which we have made to feel as friendly and welcoming as possible for families to pop in and talk to us about their needs.
“There are very few independent funeral directors left in Brighton and we aim to bring our personalised approach to this fantastic community which is why we invited members of the public to join us for the opening.”
Bowley and Gallagher Funeral Services was officially unveiled by Paul Allcock, President of SAIF (the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors), with the local clergy.
Paul Allcock, President of SAIF, added: “It’s wonderful seeing SAIF members expand their business so they can offer support to more families during a difficult time. As independent funeral directors, our members are committed to providing a caring, friendly and professional service to the local communities they work in.”
