A new four-part series about funeral directors has been launched by the BBC.
‘A Very Welsh Undertaking’ takes an inside look at how funeral directors work and the challenges they have to solve. Many families featured within the programme show the varied ways in which people chose to be laid to rest.
One of the funeral directors who was featured on the programme was James Tovey of Tovey Brothers.
Mr Tovey told South Wales Argus: “The television company were excellent and that was the only reason I agreed to do it. We were lucky we were working with some lovely families and they agreed to be filmed and they found it helpful.”
‘A Very Welsh Undertaking’, also features undertakers from Port Talbot and the Gwendraeth Valley.
