Vale Funeral Service says it was “overwhelmed” by support for its Easter egg appeal in order to raise money for Vale Food Bank.

The funeral service provider said the community had “yet again amazingly supported” the Easter egg appeal organised by Lyndsay and Nicki Ellis of the firm. The community has donated over 290 Easter eggs towards the food bank.

Lyndsay Ellis said: “I am so overwhelmed with the support again as previous years, it’s such a privilege to have the support and care from our community both during our appeals and with our personal journey with Nicki’s illness.

“These Easter gifts I hope will bring great happiness to those who receive them within the Vale Foodbank. Every year our community never let us down. Thank you so much and Easter blessings from everyone at The Vale Funeral Service.”
