Central Co-op in partnership with MHR has launched Wagestream, a new financial wellbeing benefit for all colleagues across funeral services, retail and its support centre in Lichfield, effective from this week.

It follows the group’s introduction of the ‘We’ve got you’ wellbeing campaign earlier this year that is aimed at making a significant impact on its colleagues’ overall wellbeing.

According to the group, this new benefit will empower colleagues by giving them access to their earnings between paydays, as well as offering financial coaching and providing a new way to save.

The benefit will also offer staff a competitive interest rate for saving money and tools to monitor financial health and progress.

Jennifer Roberts, senior reward and wellbeing manager at Central Co-op, said: “Our mission is to support our teams and colleagues in every possible way. The launch is a testament to our commitment to building a healthier, happier and more financially secure future for everyone.

“‘We’ve Got You’ is not just about addressing workplace challenges; it’s about recognising that life extends beyond office walls. Colleagues can access a wide range of resources on our new online wellbeing centre to support them through both professional and personal challenges, with many services available outside regular working hours to ensure support is there when it’s needed most.”
