Penryn and Falmouth Funeral Directors has announced they will be placing flowers on the graves of loved ones this Mother’s Day on behalf of families and individuals that have had to shield or self-isolate due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

The funeral directors stated that the group will place daffodils on loved ones graves in the Falmouth, Penryn and surrounding areas.

A spokesperson for the funeral directors, said: “We wanted to offer people the opportunity to have flowers put on their mum or loved ones grave on Mother’s Day. Some people are unable due to shielding, disabilities and or reliant on someone to drive them.

“We wanted to help in just a small way in what has been a very difficult year for many. We hope that the simple gesture of placing flowers on a grave on behalf of members of our community brings a small comfort to those that can’t do it themselves this year.”
