Anderson Maguire Funeral Directors will celebrate 12 years this year of sponsoring 12 local bowling tournaments in Glasgow and its suburbs.

The company was delighted to mark their continued support with Glasgow’s oldest bowler, George Mulvenny (101), from Carntyne Square in Glasgow, who has been playing bowls for over 70 years and has participated in the Anderson Maguire Carntyne Parish Church Bowling Competition since it began in 2004.

Paul Webb, Managing Director of Anderson Maguire Funeral Directors, commented: “Under the umbrella of The Anderson Maguire Foundation, we are delighted to give our ongoing support to the 12 bowling clubs. They are very much part of the local community and offer a great facility for their members to meet and socialise on a regular basis. Our ethos is to give as much back as possible to the communities we work in. We are very proud sponsors of the Anderson Maguire Annual Bowling Tournament.”
