The 11th international Death, Dying and Disposal conference will be held at the Open University in Milton Keynes from the 5 to 8 September 2013.
Guided by the Association for the Study of Death and Society (ASDS), the conference will bring together leading practitioners and academics from a range of disciplines to explore the theme of ‘where theory meets practice’.
The role of literature, empirical research, art, history, religion and cultural diversity will be explored alongside the impact of ideas upon the reality of death and dying through a range of keynote presentations and invited papers.
