The Institute of Civil Funerals has announced wholesale changes within the organisation.

Alongside a new website, the Institute of Civil Funerals has announced a new office location, a new administrator, a new conference for 2012, and a whole host of new initiatives.

With an easy to use map showing the contact details of all members by regions, the new website is a valuable tool for funeral directors looking for their local members.

The Institute followed up the rejuvenation of its website with a move to new offices in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. The day-to-day administration of the Institute will now be looked after by new administrator, Barbara Pearce.

Barbara was appointed to the position at the beginning of August, and deals with all membership enquiries and operations. The Council of Management is still headed by the chairman, Peter McNulty.

Plans are now in place for a conference weekend between the 16 – 18 November at the Hillscourt Conference Centre in Rednall, Birmingham.

Planned features of the conference’s programme include talks, workshops, the AGM, a gala dinner and award presentations.
