Qualification for Morecambe funeral arranger

Morecambe funeral arranger Adele Wearing has been recognised for the service she provides in caring for the bereaved.

Adele, of the Co-operative Funeralcare in Westgate, has achieved a BTEC Advanced Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration. Prior to joining the funeral profession, Adele worked in retail and office administration.

“Some friends find it hard to understand when I tell them I love my job. I am here to help families through a difficult time and I care and have respect for their wishes,” Adele said.

“I am also here to reassure them that their departed loved ones are cared for and looked after. I find it very humbling when families personally thank me – there are not many jobs that can do that,” she continued.
