Wolverhampton-based Sincerity Funerals has been granted planning permission to build a new garage and mortuary at its premises.

Sincerity Funerals recently opened new offices in Trysull Road, Merry Hill, after relocating from its former premises in nearby Bradmore.

According to Birmingham Mail, Wolverhampton Council planning officials approved plans for the new facilities to be built at the rear of the premises.

Set up in 2012, owner Sarah Grainger said the movie took place as the company needed “more office space”. Graninger spent 15 years as a financial advisor for HSBC and started the businesses after her mother passed away.

She said: “When I was arranging her funeral we didn’t have a very good experience and I felt I wasn’t treated with any empathy.

“So I went away, did a lot of thinking, and decided I could offer a much better service in making sure other people’s loved ones are looked after with the care, empathy and attention they deserve.”

Grainger added: “In our first year we conducted 26 funerals, and the business has grown to the point where last year we carried out 192. We work on referrals and things are still expanding.”

Sincerity Funerals has branches in and around Wolverhampton and surrounding areas Perton, Wombourne, Sedgley, Gornal, Brewood, Coven and Codsall.
