Coffin and casket manufacturers J.C. Walwyn and Sons has appointed Pete Conway as its new account manager after working at the company for a number of years.
His promotion comes after helping to deliver orders to customers nationwide in logistics, with a proposal being made by the company to head the team.
Conway said: “It was a great opportunity to interact further with clients and It was an absolute delight to be offered the new position at J.C. Walwyn’s which took no second thought. We have a great product here which we showcased at the recent National Funeral Exhibition and the feedback over the three days was excellent.
“I look forward to contacting the many enquiries we had on the stand and promoting the business further.”
Steve and Simon Walwyn both said it was a “no brainer” for him to work alongside the family team.
They said: “The feedback off customers when Pete was in logistics was excellent, many commented on his enthusiasm and excellent personality which you certainly need in this trade and he really made that difference.”
