Funeral Zone’s website now receives over half a million page views per month, reported the company.
Funeral Zone was created in 2013 to help the bereaved by providing a central resource containing information needed around the time of a funeral.
The Co-op’s Funeralcare website previously held the top spot for funeral-related sites according to Amazon’s Alexa.com ranking system. Funeral Zone’s ever-growing monthly traffic means the national chain has slipped into second place.
“Funeral Zone has seen some impressive growth over the last 12 months and we are reaching more bereaved people than ever through our practical Help and Resources section, thoughtful blog posts and independent funeral director reviews,” said Gary Moyle, Funeral Zone’s head of digital.
“We will continue our efforts to help the bereaved by ensuring we are there for them with helpful, easy-to-find information at a time when they need it most.”
