Flexmort wins prestigious innovation award

Midlands-based mortuary solutions manufacturer Flexmort has been award the ‘Big Idea’ prize from the University of Warwick for its innovative mortuary cooling systems and products.

Flexmort’s approach to the concept of body storage allows the deceased to be cooled with dignity without the need for large, heavy traditional mortuary refrigerators. Its best-selling CoverCool range simplifies the cooling of bodies and allows the deceased to be kept cool in a coffin or on a trolley.

Nick Armstrong of Armstrong’s Funerals said: “Our CoverCool system is in constant use and we are absolutely delighted with it. The cooling blankets are excellent and we are so pleased with the results.”
