Upton JFC score thanks to Chester Funeral Home

A junior football club has sported a brand new set of kits thanks to the donation of a Chester funeral home.

George Pettit and Son Funeral Directors presented a cheque for £500 to Upton Junior Football Club to enable the team to buy a new set of kits for its current two under 10s teams.

Upton JFC Under 10s play at Acresfield Primary School, Upton, and are in the Chester and District Junior league, with members aged from five through to U18s.

Lindsay Carrington, the Under 10s Pumas manager, said: “We are extremely grateful to George Pettit and Son for its sponsorship. Our old kits were getting too small so we are delighted to have been able to provide new kits ready for the new season.”
