Thomas Cuthell and Sons revealed that on 4 February at 7:30am a black Ford Mondeo estate used by its employees had been removed from Main Street in Shankill

A funeral parlour in Falkirk Scotland has been the victim of a robbery after one of its company’s cars was stolen.

In a post published on Facebook, Thomas Cuthell and Sons revealed that on 4 February at 7:30am a black Ford Mondeo estate used by its employees had been removed from Main Street in Shankill.

The company said that “in the midst of the most difficult and emotionally draining time period its colleagues and community has faced”, it could not believe that such “evil continues”.

Thomas Cuthell and Sons said: “We would like to thank the members of our community and colleagues in the funeral profession for their overwhelming kindness following the theft of one of our vehicles earlier today [4 February]
