Four face court over memorial garden damage

Four teenagers are to face court after damaging a memorial garden at a Norwich primary school.

Police investigating the incident at Valley Primary School on 16 May, where a memorial garden and children’s play area was vandalised, have identified and spoken to all four suspects.

A spokesman for Norfolk police said the suspects, aged 16, two aged 17 and one 18-year-old, have been reported to court for the offence of criminal damage and will appear in due course.

The memorial garden was created to in honour of seven year old Summer Grant who died in 2016 when a bouncy castle was blown away by high winds at a funfair in Harlow, Essex.
