Four teenagers stole a hearse from a Nottinghamshire funeral directors before crashing it in to another car and assaulting its driver.

The incident happened at 5am last Saturday (27 October) when the hearse was stolen from Nottinghamshire Funeral Service in Carlton. Half an hour later the hearse collided with a lamppost hitting a car in the process, the youths assaulted the car driver before escaping on foot.

Police have said they are currently hunting for three boys and one girl. Nottinghamshire Police also confirmed that the driver who was assaulted suffered facial injuries and said that his phone was damaged during the crash. The four teenagers have been described as white and wearing dark clothes.
