David Button Independent Funeral Directors has been given the Great Idea award at the Suffolk Coastal Business and Community Awards 2018.

Judges commended the Felixstowe based funeral director for its understanding of the community’s needs, resulting in the formation of its monthly Friendship Circle initiative for bereaved ladies.

David Button, managing director said: “We are thrilled to win the Great Idea award. This is a testament to the effort, commitment and empathy of our team.

“The Friendship Circle introduces ladies in the local community who are sadly in the same situation and ensures that people do not have to face the pain and grief of losing a loved one alone.”

David Button Independent Funeral Directors were also runners up in the Business Growth category.

Over 250 people gathered to celebrate the 2018 Suffolk Coastal Business and Community Awards 2018 on Thursday 15th March at The Hangar, Kesgrave Hall.
