Funeral director, F Curtis & Son, has carried out major refurbishments at its Warminster premises. The sixth generation family business has updated its offices, arranging room, chapel facilities and mortuary.

The company, which opened in 1891, spent £120,000 on the modernisation. Funeral director Matthew Shuttleworth, a descendant of the original founder, Frank Axcroft Curtis, told the Wiltshire Times: “We have been in the same place for hundreds of years and are well-respected in the local community.

“This investment has really brought the branch up to date allowing us, as a well-respected local firm, to continue providing a quality service for the people of Warminster and the surrounding area in their time of need.”
