Eternity Crystal has launched a new memorial gemstone, the Ashes Eternity Crystal, offering bereaved families a hand-crafted way to preserve the ashes of loved ones.

The Glastonbury-based firm, part of Eternity Memorials Ltd, said the design combines memorial glass craftsmanship with precision diamond cutting. Each piece is made using about one teaspoon of ashes, encapsulated within glass and shaped into an 18mm round brilliant gemstone with 74 polished facets.

The crystal is available in clear or coloured glass, including lilac, aqua and amber, and retails at £455 including VAT. It is supplied with a display frame, travel pouch and cleaning cloth.

Helen, owner and jeweller at Eternity Crystal, said: “In designing the Ashes Eternity Crystal inspired by my beautiful Mum who I lost in 2024, we sought to design and create more than a keepsake – we wanted a thoughtful piece of such elegance that it encapsulated her spirit and vivacity perfectly. We wanted something that would bring comfort to others struggling with a similar loss of a loved one too.

“Holding this crystal in my hand and watching the light dance over the facets has brought such a sense of warmth and connection, making an intangible memory feel tangible again.”

Adrian, a representative of Eternity Crystal, added: “Our team is honoured to provide grieving families with a deeply personal, enduring symbol of remembrance. Each piece is as unique as the life it commemorates.”

Founded in 2005, Eternity Crystal is an award-winning specialist in memorial jewellery and keepsakes. The Ashes Eternity Crystal is protected under Patent No. GB2431390.
