A collaboration between David Knowles Funeral Service and Mindful Memorials is set to open a new memorial design studio in Yarm, North Yorkshire, later this August.

The studio, based at David Knowles Funeral Service in Mandale Park, Eaglescliffe, will be officially opened on 22 August with an open day for the public scheduled from 10am to 4pm. An evening reception will also be held from 5pm to 7pm.

The space has been set up to allow families to design personalised memorials, ranging from traditional gravestones to contemporary sculptures for homes and gardens.

David Knowles, owner of the funeral service, said: “This space is all about connection. It’s about helping families honour the people they love through memorials that feel personal, heartfelt and beautifully made.

“With the team at Mindful Memorials, we’re proud to be offering something truly special right here in Yarm.”

The studio will showcase bespoke memorial craftsmanship, combining traditional techniques with modern design.
