Grimsby funeral directors, Sentiments, has opened a second funeral home in nearby Cleethorpes in response an increase in families from the area using its facilities.

The new funeral home, which includes a chapel of rest, will run in conjunction to the current premises and will see the established team work at both funeral homes, allowing “familiar faces to be at the forefront of the business”.

Managing director George Axworthy said: “We have opened to serve the people of Cleethorpes, after noticing an ever-increasing demand for our services. Opening the new premises is an exciting step and we hope to have the opportunity to help even more families and to provide the personal and fitting tribute that a funeral deserves to be.”

Sentiments has been established for the last 20 years and its new location received an £18,000 investment in the redevelopment of the chosen location.
