East of England Co-op has announced that it will be opening its latest funeral services branch in Norwich later this year.

Work has already started on the new site, which will be located on Drayton Road in the North-West of the city.

The new Norwich branch will offer a full range of multi-faith funeral services.

As well as providing at-need support and pre-paid funeral plans, the Drayton Road branch will offer a Service Hall which can hold funeral services and ceremonies for people and their loved ones.

Colin Dixon, head of funeral services at the East of England Co-op, said: “As the local independent co-operative at the heart of the community, we’re proud to be able to extend this expert service through the opening of this new branch.

“We understand arranging a funeral can be upsetting, which is why we pride ourselves on giving clients reassurance and excellent levels of service when it is needed most.”

He added: “We will share further details on the opening of our new funeral branch in due course.”

East of England Co-op’s funeral services have been supporting local families for almost 100 years, with branches across the region.
