Tributes, the West Sussex based supplier to the funeral sector, has extended its range of English willow products to include a traditional shaped coffin and ashes casket.

The new products are said to complement the company’s existing, popular teardrop willow selection.

The traditional English willow coffins are available in three sizes, while the range also includes an English willow ashes casket, which can hold full human ashes.

According to Tributes, English willow offers a “softer and more natural” alternative to traditional wood coffins, and has become an increasingly popular choice with families.

It added that the material has strong environmental credentials, as a highly sustainable product which is completely biodegradable.

Tori Bush, sales director at Tributes, said: “We chose to extend this very popular range after feedback from some of our trusted contacts in the Funeral Director sector.

“Local, more sustainable materials are becoming more important to many families and it’s essential that we listen and respond, so that we can help Funeral Directors ensure they can offer quality, handcrafted options which can be delivered quickly.”
