T Conchar and Sons Funeral Directors has completed an extensive refurbishment to its premises after an investment of over £345,000 from its owners, Dignity Funerals.

The project includes a welcoming reception area, a new arrangement room, where the bereaved can discuss their funeral wishes with a member of staff and two new Chapels of Rest.

The interior of the premises has been redecorated and all rooms have new furniture, carpets, lighting and other furnishings.

Lorraine Jones, funeral director at T Conchar and Sons, said: “This investment has really brought the premises up to date and allows us to continue providing a high-quality service.

“The reaction to the improvements from our clients and religious leaders has been very positive as they appreciate the modern, lighter ambience and comfortable surroundings we now offer.”
