J W Marsh Funeral Directors in Dudley was the target of a ram raid after burglars forced their way into the parlour located in High Oak in Pensnett . 

The crime was said to have taken place in the early hours of 17 November, after criminals used a van to drive into the building, before fleeing with a piece of jewellery that was located in a safe. 

West Midlands police are currently investigating the crime and issued a statement asking for anyone who may have information to contact them directly. 

A spokesperson for J W Marsh told Funeral Service Times that it was “pot luck” the building was the target of the robbery, they also confirmed that at the time the incident took place no deceased bodies were in the premises.
