Dignity appoints Gillian Kent as independent non-executive director

Dignity Funerals has announced the appointment of Gillian Kent as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.

Kent has had a broad executive career including being chief executive of real estate portal, Propertyfinder, until its acquisition by Zoopla, and 15 years with Microsoft including three years as managing director of MSN UK.

Gillian holds non-executive director roles at Mothercare where she is chair of the remuneration committee, SIG , NAHL Group, Ascential and at three private companies, Howsy Limited ,Theo Topco Limited ,and Portswigger Limited. 

Formerly she was a non-executive director at Pendragon and Coull Limited.

She will chair the remuneration committee and also serve on the audit and nomination committees.
