Exeter and District Funeral Service has been named one of the UK’s best funeral directors by the Good Funeral Guide for the second time.

The Good Funeral Guide, a not-for-profit organisation set up to help consumers, conducted a review of the funeral directors, assessing it based on its strict criteria. Exeter and District Funeral Service was evaluated based on its ability to listen to clients with empathy, charge a fair price and ensure it cared for the deceased respectfully while in its care.

Responding to the announcement, owner David Albery said: “I feel very privileged and it is a great honour to be entrusted with the arrangements of a family’s loved one, and while they rest in my care, your family is an extension of mine, I am very proud of the personal service that I offer.”
